Developing a treatment plan
You and I will work collaborative to develop a treatment plan that will help you reach goals over time. For example, if you need medication, we will discuss different medication options and work closely to choose options that give you the best chance for a positive outcome and relief of symptoms.
The scholarly evidence suggests that
medication management and therapy together provide the best outcomes for most clients.
With this in mind, I will almost always include brief therapy as a part of your treatment.
I may also recommend that you work separately with a therapist who specializes in a particular intervention.
My expectation is that since
we have collaboratively developed the plan,
you will work diligently to make this plan
part of your daily activities.
